# Unfollow contacts and companies

See an alert about an irrelevant contact or company? Permanently mute alerts about them.

##### Email

Hit Report on any alert to stop getting alerts about that contact or company.

##### Desktop

Click the red bell to unfollow a contact or company.

##### iOS

Tap the **red bell** to unfollow a contact or company.

You can also unfollow contacts in bulk by using the search bar.

##### Desktop

1\. Click into the search bar at the top of your Ren feed and type in the relevant criteria.

2\. Type in a Title or Company Name

3\. Click **Select** and choose who you'd like to unfollow, or click **Select All** at the bottom.

4\. Click **Unfollow**

##### iOS

1\. Tap the Contacts tab, then tap into the search bar at the top to search by criteria.

2\. Swipe left on any contact to quickly unfollow them

 

##### By Contact Source

On both iOS and Desktop, you can unfollow entire contact sources in the [Settings.](https://app.rensystems.com/settings)
