# Add contacts from Gmail or Outlook

Connect your work Outlook or Google to let Ren give you news alerts about your most relevant business contacts. **Please note that Ren only access contact information and does not read your emails**.

##### On Desktop

1. Login to Ren and navigate to [settings](https://app.rensystems.com/settings)
2. Tap **Outlook** or **Google** depending on which email provider you use
3. Sign in to your work email account.

If your Outlook is blocked, [share these instructions with your IT Admin](https://rensystems-8666094.hs-sites.com/grant-access-to-azure?hsLang=en).

On iOS

1. Login to Ren and navigate to [settings](https://app.rensystems.com/settings)
2. Go to **Contacts & Calendars**
3. Tap **Outlook** or **Google** depending on which email provider you use
4. Sign in to your work email account.
